In the course Communicative packaging project the brief was to make use of the sustainable protein source that is insects. The assignment was to create a visual concept and packaging for an edible product containing insects.
We created the brand PERIFERI, which is translated to the periphery. It's a brand focused on delivering high-quality foods with an unexpected twist. The product contains the high-protein larva called mealworm. It's toasted and seasoned with cinnamon for a lovely and healthy crunch, wrapped in the highest quality of Swedish chocolate.
The rose gold foil is glued by hand.
